Slam Sandwich

A sandwich walks into a bar… The bartender says “Sorry we don’t serve food here.” English French German Spanish. Sandwich based game for 2+ players.

CONTENTS 24 Bread cards. 6 Peanut Butter cards. 6 Jelly (Jam) cards. 8 each: Ham, Cheese, Tomato, Lettuce, Pickles, Fried Egg, Cucumber, Red Onion, Avocado. HOW TO PLAY Shuffle & place cards face down in a draw pile. Take turns flipping the top card onto a face-up centre stack. The first Bread card starts a sandwich.The next Bread card completes it. When a sandwich is complete, race to shout “SANDWICH!” Slam your hand onto the stack and claim all cards. GRAB GREAT SANDWICHES Sandwiches made only with savoury fillings are great. Sandwiches with only Peanut Butter or only Jelly are great. AVOID GROSS SANDWICHES If you spot a Gross Sandwich… keep quiet! Gross Sandwiches contain Peanut Butter or Jelly AND any savoury filling. Examples: Peanut Butter + Ham is gross. Jelly + Cheese is gross. Peanut Butter + Jelly + Tomato is gross. If you claim a Gross Sandwich: Lose all cards you have won so far, return them to the draw pile along with the Gross Sandwich, shuffle and continue play. If no one claims the Gross Sandwich the cards remain on the table and whoever wins the next good sandwich gets to keep all the cards. WINNING When all the bread cards are used up, the player with the most cards wins! Simple. INSTANT WIN Claim a PB&J and you are the instant winner! Game Over! A PB&J sandwich contains Peanut Butter & Jelly ONLY! DON'T GET IN A PICKLE No Bread, No Sandwich: Fillings flipped before the first slice of bread are part of the stack, but not part of the sandwich. Any fillings that appear before the first slice are claimed by the winner of the hand. BREAD & BREAD IS OK Empty Sandwiches Count: Bread + Bread with no fillings is still a valid sandwich. FALSE SLAMS If you shout “SANDWICH!” too early return 1 won card to the bottom of the draw pile (if you have one). FEELING FRUITY?
